Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

You will develop data visualizations, analyze trends, validate data sources, and work with customers to translate business needs into actionable analytics while collaborating across remote teams using tools like GitHub, Slack and JIRA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development, including migration to Streamlit.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience with AI coding tools Claude Code or Cursor.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate data models and calculations for reporting.
• Experience using remote collaboration tools such as GitHub, Slack, and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and improvements.
• Identify and validate data sources to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
• Interact directly with customers to gather requirements and deliver strong service.
• Contribute to improving data processes, tools, and documentation.
• Navigate ambiguity, set strategy and priorities, translating complex data into actionable insights for leaders and product teams.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly to varied audiences.
• Operate in a self-guided, strategic manner to drive project success.
• Maintain a strong sense of quality and attention to detail.
• Support teammates by taking on secondary tasks when needed.
