Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Quant Developer to lead design, development, and implementation of software for quantitative risk and pricing in the QPRA team.

With 5+ years in software engineering, you will mentor engineers, contribute to architecture, and ensure scalable, robust solutions aligned with product and business goals. Strong knowledge of finance concepts and modern tooling is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as CS, math, physics or engineering.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, C++, Java; Python preferred.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance software for financial derivatives and development tools.
• Interact with SMEs to translate business requirements into designs.
• Collaborate with product, quants, and engineering to implement valuation models.
• Integrate Quant solutions into SimCorp's product suite.
• Ensure code quality through testing, docs, and reviews.
• Monitor and improve CI/CD performance and reliability.
• Provide tier 3 support to client specialists for production issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and share insights.
