AgileEngine is seeking a Software QA/Automation Specialist to build regression automation, perform manual validation, and drive quality across the SDLC. You’ll work with cutting-edge tooling, contribute to test strategy, and collaborate with product teams to deliver reliable software for Fortune 500 clients.
The role requires strong communication, a holistic quality mindset, and hands-on experience with Gherkin and modern automation frameworks. On-call rotation is part of the duties.
Formación
- 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
- 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Mindset focused on holistic quality.
- Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
- Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
- Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.
Responsabilidades
- Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
- Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
- Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing and more.
- Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
- Record pass/fails conditions and correlate failures to bugs.
- Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or process.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and release cycles.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing strategy.
- Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
- Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run scripts, and facilitate automated QA practices.
- Participate in On-Call rotation.
