Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer in Mar del Plata, Argentina to automate security controls and integrate checks into software development workflows.

You will build AI-enabled secure code scanning, deploy-time and runtime security checks with CSPM, and collaborate with developers to secure Java and Python applications. Fluent English and autonomous execution are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience combining software engineering and security implementations or architecture.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python for security automation and scripting.
• Experience with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or similar CSPM tools for cloud security and threat detection.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and secure-from-the-start patterns.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST/DAST/ SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines, reducing noise.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM to maintain cloud visibility and threat posture.
• Review complex code (Java/Python) to guide engineers with precise remediation steps.
