Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Buenos Aires seeks a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and integrate application and cloud security checks into software development workflows.

Required: 3+ years in software engineering and security, Python, Wiz or similar CSPM tools, IaC/Terraform checks, and runtime CSPM checks with upper-intermediate English. Java experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience combining software engineering and security.
• Strong coding in Python for security automation.
• Hands-on with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or similar CSPM tools.
• Implementation experience with deploy-time checks for IaC (Terraform).
• Implementation experience with runtime checks via CSPM.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and Golden Images.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines, tuning to reduce noise.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM to maintain cloud visibility and threat posture.
• Act as SME, providing code-level remediation guidance to developers for Java/Python.
