Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Buenos Aires is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join a major port logistics project. You will lead planning, monitor progress, control costs and manage risks in collaboration with clients, technical teams and stakeholders.

The role requires a Civil/Industrial background with 10+ years in project planning, strong skills in Primavera P6 or MS Project, Excel and Power BI, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Industrial, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of proven project planning and controls experience.
• Strong schedule, cost, risk, change and reporting management.
• Advanced knowledge of planning tools (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project).
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience valued.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain the project master schedule.
• Monitor physical progress, costs, resources and key milestones.
• Analyse variances against the baseline and identify trends.
• Prepare periodic reports, dashboards and performance indicators.
• Support cost and schedule forecasts updates.
• Identify and monitor risks, opportunities and mitigations.
• Assess impact of scope changes on schedule and budget.
• Consolidate information from engineering, procurement and construction.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Contribute to improvement of Project Controls processes and tools.
