Bluelightconsulting is seeking a seasoned backend-focused software engineer to design and develop high-quality applications. You will work on low-latency API services in AWS, integrate with external services, and contribute to secure multi-tenant systems while collaborating across teams.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations
• Professional experience with React
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend services with a focus on low-latency APIs
• Build scalable RESTful interfaces and integrate with external services
• Write secure multi-tenant data models and manage migrations
• Collaborate with frontend where needed and contribute to UI work
• Run tests, including integration tests against real databases
• Participate in CI/CD setup and maintenance
