Job summary

RYZ Labs is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and ship production-ready backend systems with a strong emphasis on scalable APIs and databases. You will integrate AI tools and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

The role supports a long-term hybrid work arrangement, including one day per week at a coworking space in Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in backend or full-stack roles.
Strong backend skills with Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies.
Solid understanding of API design, databases, and scalable architectures.
Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production applications.
Exposure to AI tools and practical AI integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship production-ready backend software.
Develop scalable APIs, backend services, and integrations.
Work with databases and third-party services to ensure reliability.
Integrate AI tools and LLM capabilities into applications.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications across environments.
Contribute to frontend work when needed using React or Vue.
Participate in engineering discipline improvements and code quality.
