Job summary

RYZ Labs in Buenos Aires is seeking an experienced software engineer for a long-term hybrid role with one day per week in Palermo coworking. You will design, build, and ship production-grade backend services and APIs, integrating AI tools as needed.

You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions, work across databases and cloud services, and contribute to frontend work when required. English communication is essential in our distributed team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development skills with Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of API design, databases, and scalable system architecture.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-ready software, with a primary focus on backend development.
• Develop and maintain scalable APIs, backend services, and integrations using technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Work with databases, system architecture, and third-party services to build reliable and scalable applications.
• Integrate AI tools, APIs, and LLM-based capabilities into applications and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications across production environments.
• Contribute to frontend development using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar, when needed.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to improving engineering practices and code quality.
