Cargill in Rosario, Argentina seeks a Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect for LATAM to lead tax technology implementations and ERP governance. You will coordinate with tax teams and DT&D to optimize tax determinations and reporting across ARG, CL, CRI, MX regions.

Requires 5+ years of experience and fluent English. Based in Rosario or other LATAM locations listed; collaboration with regional teams is essential to deliver compliant tax solutions.

• TAX SOLUTIONS: Support tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including gathering local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assist on the design, analyse, test and help create trainings post go-live.
• TAX ERP ANALYSIS: Build and maintain tax requirements in ERP systems and tax applications, following standard tax methodology.
• TAX ARCHITECTURE: Ensure tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented consistently across tax areas using Tax Methodology, assisting with ERP controls.
• TAX LIASON: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to reach a joint solution.

Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect - LATAM (ARG, CL, CRI, MX)

Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect will focus on technology implementations, governance and enhancements of tax elements in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and improvements of tax processes within the LATAM region. With limited supervision, this job develops tax solutions and advice on tax requirements in ERP systems. In this role you will work in close liaison with the wider tax team and connect with the technology deployment, sustain & optimize teams, collaborate with DT&D to contribute to efficient tax determination and resulting reporting processes.

Key Accountabilities

• TAX SOLUTIONS: Support the tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including the gathering of local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assisting on the initial design process, performing analysis, testing and assisting on the creation of trainings following a go live.
• TAX ERP ANALYSIS: Support with building and the maintenance of tax requirements in ERP systems and tax dedicated applications, following a standard tax methodology to gather and meet tax requirements.
• TAX ARCHITECTURE: Assure that the tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented in a consistent manner across all areas within tax using the Tax Methodology, including assisting with the controls in the ERP space, such as the monitoring of tax logic in ERP.
• TAX LIASON: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to come to a joined solution.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Minimum requirement of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English language skills - written and verbal

Preferred

• Strong analytical skills to embed tax requirements in ERP systems or applications.
• Good understanding of tax reporting requirements as well as the basic understanding of statutory requirements and configuration in current technologies.
• Basic understanding of tax functionality in enterprise resource planning systems
• Experience within or good understanding of an international tax/finance environment.
