Job summary

Epam Systems Inc is hiring a remote contractor to join a live product team building workflow software for a client. You'll work on server-side APIs, Azure SQL, and the React/TypeScript UI, coordinating with the lead developer and product manager.

You'll guide AI coding tools, review diffs, and own end-to-end features across a sprint cycle, delivering four to five features every two weeks while maintaining production stability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building full-stack web applications.
• Experience learning unfamiliar codebases.
• Experience with workflow software and data access control.
• React, TypeScript, and SQL on Azure, including schema design and migrations.
• Daily use of AI coding tools in production with tests and CI.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Experience delivering in fixed-scope sprints with branches, code review and feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Build server-side APIs and React/TypeScript UI for a live product in a live project.
• Own end-to-end features within a sprint, including a specific area such as task engine or legacy migration.
• Review AI-generated diffs and guide the AI coding tools to meet acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with lead developer and product manager; ensure four to five features per two-week sprint are verified before merge.
