Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to join an MVP engagement with a major AAA game publisher, building a test intelligence platform for two game franchises in parallel. The role emphasizes full re-derivability and model lineage from day one, ensuring production-ready, reproducible ML and signal components.

You will own the signal catalogue, vector index versioning, back-test harnesses, and calibration workflows, while guiding experiments and maintaining lineage across configurations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in MLOps or ML platform engineering.
• Expertise in ML model lifecycle management, including versioning, configuration management, and rollback.
• Background in signal computation pipeline design, covering scheduled refresh, provenance capture, and grain translation.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for ML pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of as-of temporal data systems or back-test harness design and operation.
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Own Signal Catalogue operations and provenance across all signals.
• Coordinate versioning of Semantic Vector Index and model changes.
• Design and implement back-test and calibration harness with temporal filtering.
• Enforce holdout discipline and configuration sweep across parameters.
• Lead experimentation framework for scoring configurations and tracked results.
• Maintain model lineage across configuration versions for franchises.
• Implement MLOps Monitor and Data-Health Monitor across ingestion channels.
• Support unbiased exploration cadence with provenance for analytics entries.
• Contribute to operator runbooks for refresh, campaigns, and reindex procedures.
