Senior candidates bring extensive experience in environmental permits for mining, energy, or infrastructure

Qualifications

University degree in Environmental Sciences or related field with professional registration.
5–8 years of professional practice in environmental management and permits (Level 1).
8–10 years of professional practice in environmental management and permits with 5 years in mining, energy or infrastructure (Level 2).

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the permits matrix, identifying competent body and deadlines.
Prepare, review and submit the Environmental Impact Report and updates with required documentation.
Manage sectoral permits: water use, emissions, hazardous waste, soil movement, and native vegetation.
Maintain dialogue with provincial and national authorities, responding to observations.
Provide environmental constraints to design and verify compliance with regulations.
Prepare progress reports on permits for client and project management.
