Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Media & PR Specialist – LATAM to strengthen our media presence, public relations, local communications and online reputation across Spanish-speaking Latin America.

This is a senior individual contributor role with regional ownership, ideal for someone who is highly hands-on, well-connected, an excellent communicator and confident representing a global brand externally.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets, identifying PR opportunities, developing high-quality Spanish-language PR content, managing our Spanish-language online reputation, and representing the company at selected local events and industry activities.

As a key local marketing representative, you will also support the localisation of global English marketing communications into Spanish and contribute to a wide range of regional marketing initiatives, campaigns, partnerships, events and brand activities when required.

This role requires someone who can move comfortably between relationship building, content creation, localisation and hands-on marketing execution — from meeting journalists and attending industry events to writing press releases, adapting global campaigns for Spanish-speaking audiences and supporting local marketing initiatives.

Experience within Forex / CFD trading, fintech or financial services is a strong advantage, but not mandatory.

What You’ll Do
Media Relations & PR
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant financial, business, technology and mainstream media across Spanish-speaking LATAM.
  • Develop a strong network of journalists, editors, publishers, media partners and other relevant industry contacts.
  • Proactively identify media and PR opportunities that increase brand awareness, credibility and visibility.
  • Pitch company stories, market insights, product developments, partnerships, sponsorships and corporate initiatives to relevant media.
  • Coordinate interviews, media briefings, executive commentary and other PR opportunities.
  • Maintain and continuously expand a regional media database and relationship network.
  • Work with external PR agencies and media partners where appropriate while maintaining direct ownership of key media relationships.
PR Content & Storytelling
  • Write and edit high-quality press releases, media articles, contributed articles, executive commentary, interview materials, talking points and other PR content in Spanish.
  • Transform company developments and global campaigns into compelling stories relevant to LATAM audiences.
  • Identify strong local angles and narratives that can generate organic media interest.
  • Work with internal subject-matter experts to translate complex financial, product or business information into clear and engaging communications.
  • Ensure external communications are accurate, professional and aligned with brand positioning.
  • Support the translation and localisation of English marketing content into Spanish across regional marketing touchpoints.
  • Adapt global marketing copy into natural, locally relevant and culturally appropriate Spanish, rather than relying on direct word-for-word translation.
  • Support localisation across campaigns, websites, landing pages, App content, social media, advertising materials, EDMs, event materials, promotions and other customer-facing communications.
  • Maintain consistency in Spanish terminology, tone of voice and brand messaging across different channels.
  • Review Spanish-language marketing materials produced by internal teams, agencies or external partners to ensure language quality and local relevance.
  • Work closely with global Content, Social, Product, Design and Marketing teams to ensure global messages are effectively adapted for Spanish-speaking LATAM audiences.
  • Provide local language and cultural insights when developing new campaigns and marketing concepts.
  • Take ownership of the company's Spanish-language online reputation across LATAM.
  • Monitor brand mentions, reviews, media coverage, search results and relevant online conversations.
  • Track brand sentiment and identify recurring reputation issues or emerging risks.
  • Develop appropriate communication approaches for negative reviews, misinformation and reputation-related concerns.
  • Work closely with Social Media, Customer Support, Compliance and other teams to ensure reputation issues are handled consistently and effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen positive brand visibility, credibility and trust across Spanish-language digital channels.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations based on online reputation trends.
Events & External Representation
  • Represent the company at selected industry events, media events, networking opportunities, sponsorship activities and corporate functions.
  • Build relationships with journalists, partners and industry stakeholders through face-to-face engagement.

  • Coordinate journalist attendance, interviews and media engagement where relevant.
  • Confidently communicate the company's positioning, products and key messages to external audiences.
  • Maintain a polished, professional and credible presence when representing the brand publicly.
Local & Regional Marketing Support
  • Act as a key local marketing representative and provide hands-on support across regional marketing initiatives when required.
  • Support the planning and execution of local campaigns, events, sponsorships, partnerships, promotions and brand activations.

  • Coordinate with local vendors, agencies, media partners, event organisers and other external stakeholders when required.
  • Provide local market insights, cultural context and competitor observations to support regional marketing decisions.
  • Support the execution of new marketing initiatives and special projects as the LATAM business continues to expand.
