EY’s FSO Tax practice seeks a Senior Manager in Wealth & Asset Management to lead tax compliance and advisory work for global clients. You will handle hedge funds/private equity funds, review partnerships and K-1s, and drive tax strategies across federal, international and local levels.

Expect leadership, collaboration, and client-focused delivery. This role emphasizes strong asset-management tax knowledge, mentoring, and building trusted client relationships while guiding teams across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business with 8+ years tax experience, or advanced degree with 7+ years.
• CPA or equivalent, Enrolled Agent and/or LLM certification required.
• Experience serving wealth & asset management clients (funds or similar).
• Broad exposure to federal income tax and state/local tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance and advisory work for clients in asset management.
• Handle federal, international and state/local tax issues aligned with business objectives.
• Manage tax compliance accounts for hedge funds and/or private equity funds.
• Review partnership agreements and private placement memorandums for tax implications.
• Oversee day-to-day activities across locations.
