Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments. You will own incident management, automation, observability, and client onboarding, ensuring reliable service and scalable growth.

The role requires 4+ years running Kubernetes in production, strong Linux skills, and experience with a public cloud (Azure/AWS), plus upper-intermediate English. Flexible work options are offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Proficient debugging and troubleshooting of complex systems.
• Experience with public cloud providers (Azure or AWS).
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks and docs.
• Manage end-to-end incidents including RCAs and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients on the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual work and improve performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components current.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.
