GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks a Senior Java Developer in Buenos Aires. The role requires 10+ years of software development, fluent English, and a hybrid model with two on-site days weekly at our Buenos Aires offices.

You will design and implement backend services using Java 17, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and MySQL, while collaborating in Scrum/Kanban environments and mentoring peers.

Formación

• 10+ years in professional software development.
• Expert-level Core Java (Java 17+).
• Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA experience.
• RESTful API design & development.
• AWS cloud experience (EC2, S3, RDS).
• Ability to lead medium-complex developments autonomously.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-End development of backend services with Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Architect and optimize MySQL schemas + JPA/Crud Repository use.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS with best practices.
• Take full ownership from discovery to deployment; resolve tech debt.
• Promote clean code, performance tuning, and unit testing.
• Mentor teammates and participate in peer code reviews.
