Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and improve systems behind corporate IT services. The role covers on-prem, data centers, and cloud platforms, with responsibility for Windows and Linux administration, virtualization, storage, backups, and security-focused operations.

You will lead infrastructure upgrades, implement automation, and ensure compliant change management. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years designing and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and identity/security services.
• Experience with Active Directory and service-account management.
• Infrastructure lifecycle management, patching, and incident handling.
• Able to document clearly and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure across on-prem, data centers, cloud, and locations.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and core services.
• Support AWS/Azure or similar cloud infra, with dependencies, access controls, monitoring, and readiness.
• Manage identity and access services, AD and cloud identity integrations.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, patching, capacity expansions, and decommissioning.
• Monitor health, performance, capacity, backups, and security signals; address risks proactively.
• Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Develop automation with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible to reduce manual work.
• Maintain diagrams, inventories, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
• Support disaster recovery planning, backup validation, and RTO objectives.
• Collaborate with security, network, cloud, and vendor teams on initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
