Job summary

Fullstack is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations to lead a team of engineers responsible for supporting, maintaining, and evolving mission‑critical production environments. This hands‑on leadership role blends people management, technical leadership, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence to deliver highly available and scalable services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering or operations in production environments.
• At least 5 years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Proven experience mentoring and leading infrastructure teams.
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure environments and cloud migrations.
• Experience with automation tools to support Azure migrations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Site Recovery and DR planning.
• Experience managing multiple Azure subscriptions and tenants.
• Knowledge of DR, HA, resiliency, and capacity planning.
• Experience with Docker and container technologies.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for infrastructure automation.
• Strong scripting across Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of VMware virtualization and data center infrastructure.
• Experience with security/compliance in cloud/self-hosted infra.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3–6 infrastructure engineers for configuring, monitoring, and expanding application infrastructure and services.
• Provide technical leadership while hands-on in projects and operations.
• Lead cloud assessments, design of solutions, migrations, and implementations.
• Support and optimize Microsoft Azure environments.
• Drive infrastructure migrations to cloud and manage multiple subscriptions/tenants.
• Implement and support Azure Site Recovery and DR technologies.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers.
• Drive automation, process improvements, and service quality.
• Troubleshoot complex infra/app issues across tiers.
• Create and maintain documentation of topology, components, and procedures.
• Develop, test, and execute DR plans.
• Collaborate with MSPs, hosting providers, and external support.
• Lead capacity planning and define infra requirements for new investments.
• Support automation using Ansible, Puppet, Chef and similar tools.
• Support containerized environments with Docker or equivalent.
• Develop automation/scripts for Windows and Linux.
• Ensure security/compliance across cloud and self-hosted infra.
• Lead major infra initiatives and ensure milestones stay on track.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations.
