Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate the cloud infrastructure for a modern Identity Security platform. You will work mainly with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools, partnering with engineering, QA, security, and IT teams.

You'll drive platform engineering, improve automation and security, and optimize cloud costs while enabling engineers to ship software faster at scale. 100% remote, LATAM-focused contractor role.

Qualifications

• Senior DevOps Engineer with 5–8+ years in cloud, platform engineering or SRE roles.
• Strong production AWS experience and Kubernetes (EKS) management.
• Deep IaC skills with Terraform and Docker-based environments.
• Proficient CI/CD design using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Solid Linux administration and automation scripting (Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable AWS-based infrastructure.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes/EKS at scale.
• Develop automation for provisioning, config, and deployment.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and improve release reliability and developer experience.
• Ensure observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenSearch/ELK.
• Participate in incident response, RCA, and automation of recurring issues.
• Collaborate with Security to implement best practices and FinOps efforts.
