Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and improve the cloud infrastructure for a cybersecurity platform. You’ll work mainly with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools, collaborating with software engineering, QA, Security, and IT teams.

This role emphasizes platform engineering, automation, scalability, cost efficiency, and security, with ownership over production systems and incident response in a fully remote LATAM environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS production experience.
• Kubernetes clusters management, ideally Amazon EKS.
• Terraform and IaC experience.
• Docker and containerized environments.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Linux administration.
• Ansible for configuration management.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch/ELK.
• Networking basics: VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, VPNs, firewalls.
• Security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Manage workloads on Kubernetes / EKS, and support Docker workloads.
• Develop automation for provisioning and deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Improve deployment processes, reliability, and developer experience.
• Maintain containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design observability across infra and apps (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/ELK).
• Participate in incident response, RCA, and automation of recurring issues.
• Strengthen security and governance, support FinOps and cost optimization.
• Collaborate on platform architecture and deployment strategies.
• Continuously evaluate new DevOps and platform engineering technologies.
