Fountain Mexico is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web applications for frontline workforce management. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build user‑centered software that improves employee retention and frontline worker experience.

Requirements include 7+ years of full‑stack experience, proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, plus strong English communication.

Formación

• 7+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Proven product‑oriented development experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking about user interactions and system architecture.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic environments with limited information.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test and maintain product features and enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to bring features to life.
• Review and collaborate on other developers’ work.
• Implement RESTful API endpoints and backend functionality in Ruby on Rails or Express/Node.js; model changes in PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
• Ensure product quality, reliability, operations and security.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimise applications for speed and scalability.
• Stay up to date with industry trends to continually enhance user experience.
