AgileEngine, LLC. Rosario team seeks a Lead SDET to drive regression automation and testing strategy across the release cycle. You will shape QA practices with PM, UX, and engineering partners and lead test design, execution, and automation initiatives.

You will build robust automation, perform diverse testing types, document behavior, and collaborate with product and customer teams to elevate quality and planning across releases.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software quality assurance with cross-functional teams.
• 6+ years in automated testing including UI, API and performance.
• 5+ years in systems-based testing architecture (auth, platforms, infra).
• 3+ years testing data science models and AI/ML evals.
• Strong written and verbal communication; holistic quality mindset.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Lead SDET to build regression automation and guide the testing strategy across the full product release cycle.

MUST HAVES

• 6+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role building alongside PM, UX, and Engineering Departments.
• 6+ years of experience in automated testing including UI, API, Performance.
• 5+ years in systems-based testing architecture - Authentication, platforms, and infrastructure focus.
• 3+ years of experience testing data science models and AI/ML evals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Postman, Jmeter or any other object-oriented based automated testing framework.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and backend development.
• Experience with testing support functionalities such as Github Actions, Lambdatest, Sendgrid, Datadog, PagerDuty.
• Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes.
• Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
