The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Web & Mobile) to own the web platform built on Next.js and React, with optional contributions to mobile via React Native. You will work across web and mobile during feature sprints, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and SEO-friendly experiences for our luxury digital platforms.

You will collaborate with design/UX, integrate with CMS and booking systems, and drive automated testing and performance optimizations.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in React and Next.js (App Router, SSR, SSG, and ISR patterns).
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Back-end experience with Node.js or equivalent; comfortable building and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs.
• React Native development experience with the ability to build and maintain cross-platform (iOS/Android) features.
• Experience writing automated tests using Jest, Playwright, Cypress, Detox, or similar tooling.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web features using Next.js, React, and TypeScript as the primary day-to-day focus.
• Build performant, accessible, and SEO-optimized web experiences across the guest-facing digital platform.
• Contribute to back-end development: RESTful or GraphQL APIs, server-side logic, and data integration.
• Collaborate with the design and UX team to implement responsive, pixel-accurate UI components.
• Support the Senior Mobile Software Engineer on React Native development during mobile feature sprints or larger enhancement cycles.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts (unit, integration, and end-to-end) as a standard part of the development workflow.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared front-end component libraries and design system standards.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services: CMS (Drupal), booking systems, and analytics platforms.
• Ensure web performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and Core Web Vitals standards are met.

Position Overview

The Senior Full Stack Developer (Web & Mobile) is a strong full stack engineer whose primary focus is the web platform, built on Next.js and React, with the additional capability to contribute to mobile development using React Native. Web is the day-to-day priority; the React Native skills enable this individual to support the existing Senior Mobile Software Engineer during periods of larger mobile feature development or enhancement. This dual-platform flexibility provides the team with valuable surge capacity without requiring a dedicated mobile engineering hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web features using Next.js, React, and TypeScript as the primary day-to-day focus

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Familiarity with Expo or React Native CLI build tooling
• Experience with headless CMS integrations: Drupal, Contentful, Sanity, or similar
• Knowledge of state management libraries: Redux, Zustand, or Jotai
• Experience in hospitality, travel, cruise, or luxury consumer digital platforms
• Familiarity with analytics instrumentation: Google Analytics 4, Segment, or Amplitude
