Bowery Creative LLC is seeking a Frontend Engineer who can own React and Next.js work from design to production, writing typed, tested code and contributing to a durable frontend codebase. • Strong production-grade TypeScript with strong typing
• Deep React experience including hooks and patterns
• Hands-on Next.js experience (App Router or Pages Router)
• Experience with testing via Vitest or Jest
• Familiar with Git PR workflows and GitHub Actions CI
• Nice to have: Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui or Radix UI
• Nice to have: TanStack Query, Zod, Playwright, or Turborepo

About the Role

Our client needs a Frontend Engineer who can own React and Next.js work from design to production. You'll write typed, tested code and contribute to a codebase that's built to last. This role exists to strengthen frontend depth on the team and help deliver a reliable user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features using React (hooks) and Next.js
• Write strongly typed code with TypeScript across the frontend codebase
• Author unit and integration tests with Vitest or Jest
• Participate in code reviews and maintain a healthy PR workflow
• Keep CI pipelines green and contribute to GitHub Actions configurations
• Collaborate with teammates to define and ship frontend architecture decisions

Key Qualifications

• Strong, production-level TypeScript — you reach for types by default
• Deep experience with React, including hooks and component patterns
• Hands‑on experience with Next.js (App Router or Pages Router)
• Comfortable writing tests with Vitest or Jest
• Familiar with Git PR workflows and GitHub Actions for CI
• Nice to have: Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui or Radix UI
• Nice to have: TanStack Query, Zod, Playwright, or Turborepo experience

What Success Looks Like

• You're shipping features independently within the first few weeks, with minimal ramp-up time
• Your PRs pass CI on the first try and receive constructive, not corrective, feedback
• Test coverage on your work is solid — reviewers aren't asking you to add tests after the fact
• You've contributed meaningfully to at least one architectural or tooling decision on the frontend
• The team considers you a reliable owner of frontend work, not just an executor
