Job summary

Avenga is seeking a Senior Front-end (React.js) Engineer in Argentina to lead a strategic financial-services project. You will drive the full software lifecycle from discovery to deployment in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience with React.js and Next.js framework.
• Solid understanding of microservices and/or event-driven architectures.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Practical experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of GitLab, including branching strategies, feature development workflows, and hotfix processes.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog and Opsgenie.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Native or fluent Spanish and Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a primary focus on frontend using React.js (Next.js).
• Create intuitive, engaging interfaces with strong usability and performance.
• Develop, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.
• Maintain and enhance production applications and implement new features.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept during discovery phases.
• Share knowledge and best practices across teams.
