indie Semiconductor seeks an experienced FPGA Engineer to design RTL for digital IP, implement verification, and drive pre-silicon platform activities for ADAS SoCs. You will wire in FPGA platforms, work on IP integration, and collaborate with firmware and system teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes Verilog design, FPGA flows, AMBA protocols, and Linux-based development, with strong emphasis on cross‑site collaboration and practical lab work.

Formación

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years FPGA experience.
• Experience designing and simulating digital blocks using Verilog.
• Solid understanding of FPGA design flows incl. synthesis, place and route, STA; Vivado/UltraScale+ a plus.
• Experience with AMBA buses and protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet).
• Experience with C and Python; Tcl a plus.
• Version control with Git and SVN; CI experience a plus.
• Hands‑on with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers).
• Strong communication in Spanish and English; Linux-based development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and document RTL for digital IP blocks per specs.
• Support RTL and gate-level verification including debugging and coverage.
• Contribute to design reviews and functional safety activities.
• Integrate pre-existing IPs into high-scale FPGA platforms and glue logic.
• Deliver FPGA prototyping platforms for pre-silicon firmware development.
• Collaborate with firmware and systems on HW/SW partitioning and integration.
• Benchmark FPGA IPs against custom silicon implementations.
• Support silicon validation and bring-up.
