CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a highly technical Security Researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and contribute to the Intelligence team. This pure defense role on the TAC focuses on documenting exploitation techniques and supporting adversary tracking with fellow experts.

You will develop automation, craft mitigation guidance, and produce actionable threat intelligence for cross-team use. Remote with occasional travel expected.

Formación

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two operating system platforms, including Microsoft Windows.
• Familiarity with standard web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and strong teamwork.
• Profound knowledge of reverse engineering tools (disassemblers, decompilers, debuggers).
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, particularly Python.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate vulnerability research and exploit analysis.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve workflows and outcomes.
• Ability to express complex technical concepts clearly in writing.
• Excellent writing skills are mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Implement tracking systems for adversary tracking based on exploitation behavior.
• Improve detection of exploits and malicious payloads using existing data sources.
• Identify opportunities to increase threat visibility from new data sources.
• Maintain understanding of exploit internals through reverse engineering.
• Develop tools to automate exploit analysis tasks and extend analysis frameworks.
• Create a classification framework to aid intrusion attribution.
• Contribute to active mitigation efforts with technical expertise.
• Develop host-based and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting, detection, and prevention of identified exploits.
