Job summary

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer with 10 years in substation and line construction.
• HV experience on mining projects (2+ projects).
• Knowledge to interpret design documents for construction.
• Ability to learn/apply local regulations and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for construction managers, superintendents and contractors; contribute to problem solving.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer for timely design information flow.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program when required by construction engineering; report status to project management.
• Other duties as assigned
