Job summary

Fluor is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of substation and high voltage experience to support construction engineering across multiple projects in Argentina. The role focuses on integrating design documents, quality management, and cross-disciplinary coordination on complex sites.

Ideal candidates will bridge engineering and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely permit flow and adherence to project schedules while collaborating with field teams and management.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and 10 years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
• High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction engineering and technical support for a specific discipline on large stand-alone projects.
• Provide construction engineering and technical support for two or more construction engineering disciplines on small to medium projects.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer to ensure timely flow of design documents.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program within the construction engineering department.
