Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a senior electrical engineer to perform technical inspections of electrical work on the DoS program in Buenos Aires, Argentina. You will monitor quality control, review drawings and specifications, and ensure contractor compliance with contract requirements.

Applicants should hold an electrical engineering degree with at least seven years of construction experience, knowledge of international codes, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. U.S.

Formación

• Electrical engineering degree with 7+ years of construction experience on similar projects
• Professional Engineering License (PE) acceptable in lieu of degree
• Overseas experience preferred
• Knowledge of international codes required
• Ability to read design/construction drawings and review engineering calculations
• Reviews contractor submittals and responses to RFIs
• Develops Independent Government Estimates (IGEs) for changes
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA safety regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Responsabilidades

• Ensure contractor performs work per contract design documents
• Read and interpret design drawings and narratives; review shop drawings
• Observe onsite construction to verify proper installation
• Perform quality assurance and resolve non-conformities
• Monitor QA/Safety program and conduct field inspections
• Submit weekly progress reports with technical recommendations
• Conduct technical inspections of electrical elements of the project
