Job summary

Fluor is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to support construction of substations and line projects in San Juan, Argentina. You will provide technical construction engineering support, interpret design documents, and help drive quality programs on large-scale projects.

You should have ten years of field experience, proven high voltage expertise in mining projects, and strong communication with construction managers, engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree with ten years of work experience in substation and line construction.
• High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Ability to interpret design documents and guide construction managers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen, foremen and project supervision on construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for construction managers, engineers and contractors.
• Establish and maintain communication between the company design engineer and project management for timely information flow.
• Coordinate the project quality program when required by the construction engineering department.
