Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior role to manage environmental and regulatory permits for projects in Argentina, ensuring engineering designs, planning, and field activities meet national and provincial standards and client environmental requirements.

The position acts as a bridge between engineering and regulatory authorities, translating legal requirements into verifiable design criteria, anticipating environmental restrictions, and aligning permit routes with project schedules.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction engineering and technical support across multiple disciplines on large stand-alone projects.
• Coordinate with design engineers to ensure timely flow of design documents and information.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer to ensure timely design document flow.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program within the construction engineering department.
• Other duties as assigned.
