Job summary

Fluor is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support construction engineering on large projects. The role emphasizes providing technical support for substation construction, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring quality on site.

Preferred are extensive site construction experience, strong communication skills, and ability to work in English and Spanish; a Construction Management degree is a plus. Must be authorized to work where the project is located.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer with ten years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
• HV experience in mining projects is required.
• Ability to interpret and apply design documents and codes.

Responsibilities

• Support construction engineering and technical roles on large stand-alone projects.
• Assist craftsmen and supervision with construction-related issues from drawings.
• Interpret design documents for project managers and contractors.
• Coordinate quality program activities within construction engineering.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
