Job summary

Fluor is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in substation and line construction to support project field teams. The candidate should have 10+ years of relevant experience, HV exposure in mining settings, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years in substation and line construction.
• HV experience on mining projects.
• Must understand local, state/provincial, and national codes and guidelines.
• Must attend to detail and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support construction efforts with technical support to craft and supervision.
• Provide interpretation of design documents to construction managers and contractors for problem solving.
• Maintain effective communication between company and design engineer for timely design documents and information flow.
• Coordinate and implement the project quality program when needed and report status to management.
• Participate in Fluor University activities as required.
