Job summary

EPAM Systems in Argentina seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead and own outcomes in cloud architecture and operations. You will build, automate, and support enterprise cloud environments using AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes, and robust CI/CD practices.

You will mentor teammates, drive reliability, and implement scalable deployment strategies while ensuring security and compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
• At least one year in a leadership or team coordination role.
• Hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud architectures.
• Proficient in Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with at least one statically typed language such as C# or Java.
• Strong IaC and automation tooling experience.
• Familiar with CI/CD and release management platforms like GitLab.
• English language at B2+ level or higher, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment strategies.
• Develop automation for infrastructure setup, configuration, and monitoring.
• Lead CI/CD processes and standards across projects.
• Resolve production and testing issues and drive improvements.
• Update documentation for systems, workflows, and guidelines.
• Ensure security and compliance across cloud operations.
• Mentor team members on DevOps practices and cloud technologies.
• Participate in incident analysis and drive reliability improvements.
• Introduce new tools and methodologies to strengthen DevOps landscape.
