Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate cloud infrastructure for a cybersecurity platform. You will work primarily with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools, collaborating with engineering, security, QA, and IT teams.

The role emphasizes platform engineering, automation, security, and cost efficiency with high ownership over production systems in a remote LATAM setting.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on production experience with AWS.
• Strong experience managing Kubernetes clusters, ideally Amazon EKS.
• Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Linux administration skills.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and scale workloads on Kubernetes, especially EKS.
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with common tools.
• Improve deployment processes and developer experience.
• Manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Improve observability with dashboards, logging, and alerts.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Identify and automate recurring operational issues.
