Job summary

Encora Inc. is seeking a Senior Data & Knowledge Engineer to design and implement enterprise-grade data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval pipelines in a remote setup.

The role emphasizes building RAG-based architectures, knowledge graphs, and scalable data processing using Databricks and Azure services. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in data or analytics engineering, hands-on Azure Document Intelligence and Azure AI Search expertise, and a strong background in graph databases like

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Search Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Knowledge Platform roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Document Intelligence, Azure AI Search, Databricks, and SQL.
• Experience building production-grade data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, embedding, and indexing pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of vector search, embeddings, RAG architecture, and enterprise information retrieval.
• Experience designing and maintaining knowledge graphs using Neo4j or other graph database technologies.
• Strong understanding of metadata, lineage, data quality, governance, and knowledge management practices.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured enterprise data and document extraction patterns.
• Knowledge of secure retrieval patterns, filtering, citations, access controls, and data freshness.
• Experience measuring and optimizing retrieval relevance and knowledge quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities
