Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a remote LATAM engagement. The role blends data engineering, software engineering, solution architecture, cloud infrastructure, and technical consulting to ingest data from complex enterprise environments.

You’ll build connectors and ingestion pipelines, work directly with customers to understand architectures, and ensure reliable, scalable, and secure data flows across cloud and on-premise

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development.
• Solid design and consumption of REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL databases knowledge.
• Production cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with Git workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, networks, endpoints, applications, and SIEMs.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, discovery, architecture, and deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data sources (security events, logs, identity activity, network telemetry).
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases; deploy in Docker/Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
