Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors. You will work directly with enterprise customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors, applying Python/Go expertise and cloud tech across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems.
• SQL and NoSQL databases proficiency.
• Production cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• Strong debugging across APIs, infra, networking, and data pipelines.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Lead onboarding from discovery to deployment.
• Build scalable ingestion architectures for security events and high-volume data.
• Develop backends with Python and/or Go and work with SQL/NoSQL stores.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues across layers.
• Improve ingestion performance, reliability, and time-to-value.
