Darwoft seeks a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to serve as a key technical bridge between enterprise customers and the engineering organization.

This role emphasizes working directly with customers to understand their data sources, security requirements, and integration constraints, then delivering scalable ingestion solutions across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in software, data, or platform engineering with a focus on data ingestion and integrations.
• Strong Python and Go development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs; building ingestion pipelines and connectors.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, network infrastructure, endpoints, apps, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, architecture design, and production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data such as security events, logs, and identity activity.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments across application, infrastructure, networking, API, and data layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
• Advise customers on data architecture, collection strategies, and security integrations.
