Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement data ingestion pipelines, connectors, and ingestion services for an Identity Security platform. You will work directly with customers, understanding data sources, security requirements, and integration constraints, then translate them into scalable data ingestion solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development background.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration experience.
• Cloud experience with at least one major provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, security requirements, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding and deployment processes from discovery to production.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing security events, logs, identity activity, and network telemetry.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases; operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP; troubleshoot complex deployments.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
