Job summary

Darwoft is hiring a Senior Data Engineer focused on Data Ingestion, Integrations, and Collectors for a 100% remote role in LATAM. You will engage with customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines, connectors, and integration services across cloud platforms.

This role requires 10+ years in software/data engineering, strong Python/Go skills, and experience with REST APIs and data pipelines. You’ll work closely with enterprise clients and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Strong design/consumption of REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Production cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and security tools.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven patterns, and good engineering practices.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to store, transform, query, and analyze data.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues across layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
• Advise customers on data architecture, collection strategies, and security integrations.
• Identify recurring requirements and build reusable connectors or platform features.
• Contribute insights to the product roadmap and time-to-value for customers.
• Support production adoption and on-site customer engagements when needed.
