Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and integratons for a cybersecurity identity platform. You will collaborate with customers to map data sources, design ingestion pipelines, and deliver scalable solutions in a cloud-enabled environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software/data engineering, strong Python/Go skills, and experience with REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data/platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, network infrastructure, endpoints, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments, data flows, and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding processes from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing security events, logs, and high-volume data sources.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go and work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes and deploy across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployments and optimize performance, reliability and security.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product and Engineering.
• Translate customer requirements into pragmatic technical solutions and reusable connectors.
• Contribute insights to the product roadmap and support time-to-value for customers.
