Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms for financial data. You will work with Python, SQL, Spark, AWS, and modern data architectures to deliver high-performance solutions in a remote, international setting.

You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into scalable data solutions, enforce data quality, and drive DataOps practices across the team.

Formación

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or related roles with production data systems.
• Strong Python/SQL skills for data processing and software development; Scala/Java a plus.
• Hands-on with Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with Airflow or similar DAG tools and Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery.
• Experience with streaming (Kafka/Kinesis) and dbt.
• Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps, Git, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud platforms.
• Advanced English proficiency for technical communication.

• Design and build high-throughput data pipelines for financial data.
• Scale cloud data warehouse/lakehouse architectures for massive data.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, and alerting; ensure SLAs.
• Promote DataOps, CI/CD, and IaC for data systems.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Mentor junior/mid-level data engineers and share best practices.
