Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors. You will be the technical bridge between enterprise customers and engineering, designing scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors while ensuring reliability, security, and production readiness.

You’ll work with Python/Go, REST APIs, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), collaborating across architecture, engineering, and customer teams to deliver value and accelerate time-to-production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data/ platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and connector frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, networks, endpoints, apps, and SIEMs.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments, data flows, security requirements, and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding processes from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
