Job summary

Endava seeks a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and robust data architectures. You will use Python, SQL, DBT, and Airflow within AWS/Snowflake environments to deliver reliable data products.

You will contribute across production, QA, and staging, implement data quality checks, and participate in CI/CD and IaC practices. Hybrid work options and global opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or similar role.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow, DAG development, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse tech.
• Proven DBT experience and familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and delivery.
• Develop reusable, modular data processing solutions and optimize data models and queries.
• Design and maintain Airflow workflows with monitoring and error handling.
• Implement data quality checks using DBT and SQL and ensure observability.
• Build data solutions on AWS and Snowflake, and support production environments.
