AgileEngine seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines and automation for cloud cost visibility and performance insights. You will build scalable ELT/ETL workflows across AWS services like Glue, Athena, Aurora and Snowflake, partnering with Engineering and Finance to drive cost optimization.

Bring strong SQL and Python skills, 4+ years in data engineering, and experience with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster. This role offers full remote work with competitive compensation.

Formación

• 4+ years of data engineering experience required.
• End-to-end ELT/ETL pipelines in cloud environments preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency is essential.
• Experience with orchestration tools like dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
• AWS data services including Glue, Athena, Aurora; Snowflake experience valued.
• Solid data modeling and large-scale data processing skills.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Terraform, and REST API integrations.
• Ability to optimize pipelines for performance and cost.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain the Cloud Economics data pipelines and automation systems.
• Develop scalable datasets powering cloud cost visibility, attribution, and performance insights.
• Create data models and ingestion frameworks for telemetry and usage data.
• Develop tooling enabling cost-aware decisions across product, engineering, and finance.
• Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Finance to support cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and auditability across end-to-end workflows.
