IDT is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the BI team in a remote LATAM-friendly role. You will design end-to-end data pipelines powering our data warehouse, LLM-driven applications, and AI-based BI, while collaborating with stakeholders and maintaining documentation.

The role emphasizes building scalable pipelines, handling unstructured data, and enabling retrieval-augmented generation with vector stores. LATAM applicants and in-person verification are noted in the posting.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficiency with Python for data engineering tasks including transformation and large-scale processing.
• Experience with big data tech such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines powering data warehouse, feature stores, model-training workflows, and real-time inference services.
• Develop pipelines to extract, store, and retrieve semantic representations of unstructured data for advanced search and AI patterns.
• Architect lightweight analytics and dashboards delivering natural language queries and AI insights.
• Define processes for prompt engineering, orchestration flows, and model fine-tuning for conversational interfaces.
• Oversee vector stores and indexing for retrieval-augmented generation workflows.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Document all data processes, workflows, and model deployment routines.
• Stay updated on emerging data engineering, MLOps, and LLM operations.
