Fluor seeks an Electrical Substation Construction Engineer to support HV construction on large stand-alone projects. You will provide construction engineering and technical support for multiple disciplines on site, interpreting design documents for project managers, superintendents, and contractors to ensure work meets the scope of work.

You will coordinate with design engineers and field teams to maintain project schedules, safety and constructability.

Competenze

• Electrical engineer degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
• Proven High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Oral and written communication skills are preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program on projects.
